The Second Annual William Rigby Invitational is Here!

This year, there will be two different tournaments you can join. The first will be the standard format of tournament you have come to expect from William: an individual registration, mixed teams tournament. You will sign up as an individual and be entered into a pool from which the teams will be created a week prior to the event. The number of signups we receive will determine the number of teams and logistics of the tournament. We have rented the softball fields at Howe Park for this tournament.

The second way to play is our first annual Sillyball tournament! We are accepting up to 8 captains to sign up for this tournament. Should you sign up for this tournament, please understand you are committing to bringing AT LEAST 8 players on the day of and no more than 15. This tournament will have a picker wheel with a number of modifications (e.g. 15" ball, run the bases backwards, etc) that will be spun at the top of each inning. This tournament is intended to be focused on fun, but knowing our community, we will end up with some competitive games for the top spot. Nothing like bragging rights! The potluck portion of the event is entirely optional. Last year we provided pizza and non-alcoholic beer and attendees brought BBQ, cake, beer, seltzer, etc. Feel free to bring anything or just yourself. If you don't care to play, feel free to just come hang out!
